The chuppah represents a Jewish home symbolized by the cloth canopy and the four poles. A chuppah is open on all four sides and represents hospitality to the guests. This "home" initially lacks furniture as a reminder that the basis of a home is the people within it, not the possessions. A chuppah symbolizes the home the couple will build together. Today, couples of all faiths enjoy the beauty and warmth that a wedding canopy provides, as well as the beautiful message it conveys.
A Wedding Canopy is a beautiful wedding accessory that allows you to choose from a variety of fabric colors, styles and textures. A Wedding Canopy that is used in the evening or in a darkened room, can also be decorated with one of our lighting packages. Use accent lights or beautiful washes of color to provide theatrical highlight (in your wedding color). Light strands, such as twinkle lights, can also be used to highlight & add accent. Some clients choose to add flowers, greenery, and other details that personalize this special area.
Setting up a Wedding Canopy is not a one person job and has (at least) a fair degree of difficulty. Though some groups have successfully assembled a Wedding Canopy, we don't recommend this as a do it yourself project.
Sashes are $3.00 each.
Pipe socks to mask Rods are $4.50 each.
Pipe and drape, a chuppah or a wedding canopies cannot withstand high winds. If the canopy can be staked to the ground, then a canopy can be used outside without worry. Staking is available, but is not included in the normal pricing. If the canopy is to be on a hard surface (like cement or on a deck), sand bags may be used. While we can be confident that our structure will stand, we cannot guarantee that the canopy fabric & decor will withstand extremely windy conditions.
If outside, weights or stakes are needed for stability. The cost of adding weights is $60 for a set of 4.
Same day or late night removal starts at 150.00
All pick-up orders will require 20% security deposit. Security deposits will be refunded once all items have been returned, unless damaged or missing. Arches, chuppahs, chandeliers and candelabras are subject to a higher deposit.
Arches, chuppahs, chandeliers and candelabras are the most susceptible to damage. Arches and chuppahs are more difficult to set up, take down and transport, therefore often end up being mishandled and damaged.
Chandeliers frequently experience damage due to their difficult installation process & fragility. Candelabras are also very fragile, making proper storage and careful transportation extremely important for both.
